What is cover screw?
Cover Screw
Cover Screw is a small screw which covers the fixture inner surface after placemen of fixture in jaw.
Role of the cover screw: Avoid the entrance of the debris, bacteria, blood and soft tissue into the fixture.
The cover screw will remain until the next (second) phase of the implant surgery. Usually fixture and cover screw sell in one pack. If not, cover screw can be bought separately.
