Teeth loss may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Teeth loss is often caused by inflammatory oral diseases. An study by Helsinki University in Finland shows that more than nine missing teeth increases the risk of cardiovascular disease (51%), diabetes (31%) because of common molecular inflammatory mechanisms. The conclusion of this study which has published in the "Journal of Dental Research" Indicates that the risk of death for those patients may increase 37%.
