Implant Analogue or Implant Replica
Implant Analogue is a manufactured device that is embedded in the operative model and is used during fabrication of the laboratory prosthetics to duplicate the shape and position of the implant platform.
Normally, Analogue is inserted to model of the patient's cast after 2-3 months of surgery. Then the cast is sent to the dental laboratory. The dental laboratory technician makes the crown according to the replica of implant platform.
