MDL Themy Automatic Disposable  Soft Tissue Biopsy Needle

 Themy is a stable and ultralight automatic device. It can be provided into 2 versions with different length of notch: 10mm (TYS) or 20mm (TY). Needle size with international color code is stamped on the hub and on the primary packing.

The stylet has a triple ultra-sharp tip to penentrate easily into fibrous tissues. Possibility to take the sample with only one shot of the button.

 

Two Firing Modes

A mode: releases cannula and  stylet in rapid sequence and captures tissue sample simultaneously.

D mode: releases stylet and allows the user to check the position of the tip via ultrasound before releasing the cannula by pushing the button till the point.

In each step of the procedure, the operator is able to know the charging status of cannula and stylet.

Themy is provided with 2 firing sequential trigger points, one in front and one at the backside allowing the doctor to the different handling positions.
