G-Multi Primer

Primer for Glass ceramics, Hybrid ceramics, Zirconia, Alumina, Composites and Metal bonding

G-Multi PRIMER is a priming agent designed to treat the adherent surface of glass ceramics, hybrid ceramics (e.g. CERASMART), zirconia, alumina, composite and metal restorations. This is to promote a strong bond to resin-based materials as well as resin-based cements in case of luting procedures or direct composites in case of repairs.
    

   
    
Recommended Indications:

1. Priming of adherent surface of indirect restorations made of glass ceramics, hybrid ceramics (e.g. CERASMART), zirconia, alumina, composites and metal before luting procedures.
2. Intra-oral and extra-oral repair of fractured indirect restorations made of ceramics, hybrid ceramics, zirconia, alumina, and composites.

    
Direction for use:   

A. For luting procedure
1. Treat adherent surface of restoration according to the respective manufacturer’s instructions and then clean it using a suitable cleaning method. We recommend cleaning in an ultrasonic bath or with alcohol, then rinse and dry with an oil-free air syringe.
2. Dispense one drop of G-Multi PRIMER into a dispensing dish.
3. Apply a thin layer to the adherent surface of the restoration using a micro-tip applicator and dry with an air syringe.
4. Apply suitable resin-based luting cement to the primed surface of the restoration. For these steps, refer to the manufacturer's instructions for use of the corresponding luting cement.

B. For Intra-oral Repair
1. Roughen adherent surface using a coarse diamond bur / a carborundum point or with sandblaster.
2. Treat adherent surface of the restoration according to the respective manufacturer’s instructions and then clean it using a suitable cleaning method. Rinse and dry with an oil-free air syringe.
3. Dispense one drop of G-Multi PRIMER into a dispensing dish.
4. Apply a thin layer to the fractured surface of the restoration using a micro-tip applicator and dry with an oil-free air syringe.
5. Continue the repair by using a light-cured adhesive (e.g. G-Premio BOND) and a light-cured composite (e.g. G-aenial, Essentia), referring to their respective
manufacturer’s instructions for use.

Note:
If treated surface is contaminated with saliva or blood, rinse with water and dry. Re-treat the surface according to the manufacturer’s instructions and re-apply G-Multi PRIMER according to the instructions above.
