A Pericardial Patch offers improved bio-compatibility and reliable handling for various cardiac repairs by leveraging the EnCap AC Technology in combination with a durable and strong Bovine Pericardium, that incorporates an anti-calcification treatment of a proprietary nature.

CARDIOVASCULAR REPAIR SUPPORT THROUGH SUTURABILITY AND RELIABLE HANDLING

Time can be saved during procedures through the rinseless and ready to use preparation. Compared to other synthetic patches, suturability and reliable handling are provided by the Bovine Pericardium. Unwanted changes like Aneurysm formation and patch shrinkage can be minimized through the strong glutaraldehyde fixed tissue, even during high stress 2-6 repairs. The soft, pliable tissue sutures into place along the suture line through minimum leaking and adheres to anatomy.

BIOCOMPATIBILITY AND DURABILITY ARE ENHANCED THROUGH THE ANTI-CALCIFICATION TREATMENT
Cytotoxicity and antigenicity are reduced through the proprietary EnCap Technology that helps in capping residual aldehydes. Rapid binds are promoted and calcification minimized through healing provided by the endothelial cell covering. The repair or reconstruction is strengthened, calcification and degeneration is minimized through the enhanced endothelialization.
