Hemostatic Gel

   

Hemosthase is a thixotropic aluminum chloride-based gel in the concentration of 25%, which aids in controlling bleeding caused by manipulation of the periodontal tissues. The gel can be combined with the use of Pro-Retract (FGM) retraction cord to assist in temporary gum retraction.

  

Features:

• Colorless gel: Aluminum chloride does not generate hemostatic residue, so it does not stain hard and/or soft tissues and also does not interfere in the aesthetics of the materials that will come into contact with the preparation.
• Efficiency: Control of gingival fluids and bleeding is obtained quickly.
• Safety: Aluminum chloride is considered one of the safest substances on the market, and does not present adverse systemic effect when used correctly.
• Suitable viscosity: It is the only Brazilian product in the form of a gel. In addition, it is thixotropic: it is easy to apply and does not run off the site.

  

Indication:

Hemosthase gel is indicated for control of exudate and bleeding, improving the conditions of visibility and manipulation of the gingival/periodontal tissues. It is therefore indicated for the following procedures:
• Temporary gingival retraction (used in combination with Pro-Retract (FGM) gingival retraction cord.
• Impressions of dental elements (all techniques).
• Cementation of full crowns.
• Subgingival restorations.
