  • The principle active of CLOREXORAL is Chlorhexidine Digluconate. Chlorhexidine when in low concentration (0,12%) is a bacteriostatic agent and in high concentration (2%) become in a fast bactericide agent.
  • Chlorhexidine act through an electrostatic interaction of its positives and negatives charges in the bacteria’s cellular wall, and breaking it, precipitating the cytoplasm and causing the bacteria’s death. It has substantivity and its residual effect is about 48 hours.
  • It has low toxicity do not harming the periapical tissue.
