PD Pro-Pul-Pan Zinc Oxide-Eugenol Cement 

PD Pro-Pul-Pan is chiefly known for its sedative effect upon pulpal tissue, especially when restoring teeth with deep carious lesions.

 

Indications:

- Temporary filing/N.B. The presence of Eugenol will interfere with resin-based fillings
- Inlay & crown cementing
- Periodontal dressing
- Root-canal sealing

 

Directions for use:

- Place powder & liquid on a mixing pad at a recommended ratio of 6:1 weight
- 3 spatulation cycles are required to obtain a smooth, creamy mass of the desired consistency.
- Half the powder should be mixed in the first cycle & the remainder in the two subsequent cycles. Speed
is not essential as setting will only begin 3 or 4 minutes after initiating the mix
- Mixing on a cool, dry slab induces a slower set. A thin mix sets slower
- Mixing on a warm, damp slab induces a faster set. A thick mix sets faster.
